Innovative Sweet Palermo partnership creates value in Korea
As consumer trends shift towards healthier, convenient and high-quality lifestyle nutrition, premium snack vegetables are becoming increasingly popular among consumers in Korea. Rijk Zwaan is working with Nongsan Trading to build Sweet Palermo’s brand image and market presence there.
Tatayoyo hits organic stores
Since early June, Tatayoyo has been available at Ekoplaza, a 100%-organic supermarket chain in the Netherlands. “This orange pepper is aromatic, slightly larger than a snack pepper and very versatile. It’s a great way to surprise our customers with something new. They also like the story behind it: broad, local collaboration,” says Loes Hageman, Fresh Produce Category Manager at organic wholesaler Udea.
Successful partnership brings organic Tatayoyo to Austria all year round
Austrian consumers can now enjoy organically grown snack peppers with a unique tropical flavour all year round. Both grower Veganis and an Austrian retailer were so impressed by the award-winning Tatayoyo that they recently joined forces to add it to the retailer’s premium organic range. Gregor Hoffmann, Client Manager at Rijk Zwaan Welver, explains how it was achieved.
