Rijk Zwaan held the Global Gherkin Days on 6 and 7 July 2015. More than 200 participants from 22 countries gathered in Germany to exchange knowledge and ideas about gherkins.
As of today, Rijk Zwaan South Africa has taken over the sales activities from its former distributors Javelin Seeds and Filmflex Plastics. Rijk Zwaan expects to be able to serve the South African vegetable market even more effectively.

From 9th until 13th February, Rijk Zwaan organized its annual International Winter Open Field Days in Spain. Rijk Zwaan presented ten winter crops, over 300 varieties and several innovative production systems to an international crowd in Murcia.
