The MyCubies concept
We have a dedicated breeding team, selecting the right varieties for the grower association of MyCubies. Constantly looking to improve the assortment by adding new traits and resistances. The selected growers association is in return working closely together with Rijk Zwaan on improving their product quality and shelf life by doing jointly research. This for example results in the development of packaging to increase shelf life and more sustainable packaging solutions. Next to this we give marketing support for growers, traders and retailers by creating jointly campaigns to increase product awareness in the total chain.

Discover the MyCubies® classic
Our Classic MyCubies® snack cucumbers, ranging from 8 to 11 cm in length, are ideal for planned snacking moments throughout the day. Their convenient size, refreshing crunch and great flavour make them the perfect healthy choice for lunchboxes, work breaks or any daily snacking routine.

The story of Javier Jiménez Medina
Rijk Zwaan developed and launched its exclusive snack cucumber brand MyCubies® several years ago. The most recent company to start producing MyCubies is SAT Campos de Granada, a specialist in snack vegetables, especially sweet pepper, tomato and cucumber. General Manager Javier Jiménez discusses his experiences during this project and provides insight into the latest consumption habits.
