Global Melon & Watermelon event Cartagena
Professionals from across the melon and watermelon value chain will once again gather at our Experimentation and Development Centre (CED) La Palma in Cartagena, Spain, for the Global Melon & Watermelon Event. The event will include a local week from 22 to 26 June and an international week from 30 June to 2 July.
Under the slogan "Shaping value growth in the M&W category", the event will bring together growers, distributors and retailers to explore how varietal innovation can create new opportunities and drive category growth.
During the event, visitors will discover solutions developed to respond to evolving consumer preferences and create value throughout the supply chain.
In watermelon, Rijk Zwaan will showcase concepts such as Orange Sunglow™, Candy Ball™ , Sandissima™ and Tropical™, developed to drive category differentiation through new eating experiences, eco-friendly formats and innovative solutions that create added value throughout the supply chain.
In melon, visitors will be able to discover the latest developments in Mellissimo™, Galuna™ and PX Defense™, solutions designed to combine flavour, quality, crop security and profitability, addressing the current needs of growers, distributors and consumers alike.
With this new edition, Rijk Zwaan reaffirms its commitment to developing solutions that contribute to innovation, differentiation and value creation within the melon and watermelon category.
