Corporate Social Responsibility is in our genes
Sustainability and social responsibility are a natural part of Rijk Zwaan. Our vegetable seeds and our specific knowledge and techniques enable us to contribute to a healthy future. Through breeding on more robust varieties with better resistance, higher yield and improved shelf life we contribute to a more sustainable and efficient production and processing of vegetables. We aim to stimulate vegetable consumption by introducing appealing vegetables and new versatile concepts, like snack vegetables.
As an employer, our primary objective is to offer every employee an enjoyable and long-term job with attractive pay and conditions. As a logical extension of that, we pay close attention to the environments affecting our employees. In our everyday work, we contribute to a better world through the way we treat people and through the things we do.
