In Spain, building work on a new breeding station is in progress. The foundations for the new building have already been laid and the metal structure will be finished this week. The construction of a high-tech glasshouse has just started.

In March, the first brick was laid, which was celebrated with a short ceremony. At the same time as laying the first brick, a special ‘Rijk Zwaan time capsule’ was buried, containing some newspapers, seeds of different crops and pictures of Rijk Zwaan colleagues.
