Rijk Zwaan is an internationally-orientated company. That is logical, as vegetables are grown and eaten all over the world. Vegetables are a living product. Growing conditions and the wishes of growers and consumers are not the same all over the world.



Various climate zones
That is why Rijk Zwaan is represented by a subsidiary, a breeding station and/or a business partner in the various climate zones. This enables Rijk Zwaan on the one hand to offer the most suitable varieties for each climate zone and on the other hand it enables the Holding company as a whole to carry out breeding work and produce seed year-round.
