The range

Rijk Zwaan specialises in breeding vegetable crops for professional growers the world over. For this global customer base we have a very wide range of varieties. In total, our breeders are working on about 30 crops, of which approximately 750 varieties are available commercially. A complete and up-to-date overview of our range per sales area can be found on the sites of our subsidiaries.

At the moment, Rijk Zwaan’s main crops in terms of market leadership are lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and spinach. Rijk Zwaan is developing breeding programs in nearly all crops.
